CORONA STARDUST - A TRIBUTE TO DAVID BOWIE IN AID OF SAVE OUR VENUES.

This is an album of cover versions of David Bowie songs recorded with love, mostly at home, by musicians to try to raise money for Save Our Venues.

This album is completely FREE to download and stream, but we do ask that you please DONATE at saveourvenues.co.uk if you have the funds, and care about preventing the closure of more grassroots live music venues due to both closure and lack of business due to Covid-19, and a insufficient Government funding.

"The situation is dire, government support has been exhausted, and it now falls to artists, music fans, local communities and the wider industry to take action. Put bluntly, without these venues the opportunities for artists and audiences to connect in a meaningful way at a local level will simply disappear in a lot of cases.

And if they go they will never come back.

Please help us to help grassroots music venues to survive this unprecedented threat to their existence."

This is the 3rd and final installment of our 'Corona' trilogy of albums. Thanks to all the artists that have contributed, all the DJ's, bloggers, journalists and scoundrels that have supported our projects over this confusing and terrible pandemic period.

Thanks to David Bowie for writing these songs. I had a dream once where Bowie visited me after he died, he told me 'Everything is gonna be ok'.
